 The Wine

Fortant Sauvignon Blanc is a lemon yellow in colour with intense notes of grapefruit and pineapple.  Crisp and dry with lively citrus fruits on the palate. 

 

Fortant Merlot is deep purplish red in colour and has an attractive nose of blackberry and plum.  Round and soft on the palate, with a fruity, silky finish.

Roly’s Bistro hit the ground running in 1992 and it hasn’t stopped since. A busy bustling Brasserie, this cracking eaterie provides reasonably priced smart food. Since then it has become a Dublin Institution and has a constant flow of hungry customers flocking to it.

In a great location, John and Angela O’Sullivan with Chef de Cuisine, Paul Cartwright, run a smooth operation boasting a wide selection of dishes on their menus. Some of the dishes such as their famous Prawn Bisque and Kerry Lamb Pie and Fish Pie have been on the menu since the first day the opened - they couldn’t dare remove it or there would be a protest outside their doors. The main room is totally atmospheric and a place to see and be seen for long lazy lunches or a cosy romantic evening meal!
